Techtextil India 2025 Set to Showcase India’s Push Toward Global Technical Textiles Leadership

India’s largest technical textiles exhibition returns with its most ambitious edition yet, signalling the country’s accelerated drive toward high-value, innovation-led textile manufacturing.

Techtextil India 2025 will take place from 19–21 November at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, bringing together over 215 exhibitors — including 100+ first-time participants — and more than 300 brands from across Europe, the US and Asia. The show arrives at a time when India’s technical textiles exports reached USD 2.92 billion in FY 2024–25, led by Packtech (37.5%) and Indutech (28%), highlighting the sector’s rising global influence.
This edition integrates new, high-impact features: the India debut of the Dornbirn Global Fiber Conference Asia (18 November), a dedicated Sporttech Pavilion, a German Pavilion, and a knowledge-driven symposium powered by the Indian Technical Textile Association (ITTA). Together, these platforms will explore innovations across geotextiles, agrotextiles, mobiltech, buildtech, oekotech, defence textiles, automotive interiors, medical textiles and circular-material solutions.

The event comes amid significant policy tailwinds. Recent amendments to India’s Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme aim to boost man-made fibre and technical textile capacity, simplify business processes, attract investment and support ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ goals. Industry leaders say these reforms, combined with global demand for sustainable, high-performance solutions, are accelerating India’s emergence as a production hub.

Organiser Messe Frankfurt says Techtextil India 2025 will serve as a bridge between policy, technology and industry — enabling collaboration, investment, and next-generation product development. Major exhibitors include Reliance, Welspun, Aditya Birla Yarns, Khosla Profil, Sanathan Textiles, Sarex Chemicals, Brückner, Autefa Solutions, and Pulcra Chemicals.
With India positioning itself for global leadership in advanced textiles, Techtextil India 2025 is set to be a catalyst for scale, sustainability and innovation across the value chain.
