The textile and apparel sourcing exhibition will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a redesigned layout, stronger Indian participation and renewed emphasis on sustainability, traceability and flexible manufacturing.
Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris 2027 will bring together more than 1,000 international exhibitors from January 25–27, as European fashion brands reassess sourcing strategies amid changing trade agreements and sustainability requirements.
Organised by Messe Frankfurt France at the Paris-Le-Bourget Exhibition Centre, the anniversary edition will introduce a redesigned exhibition across Halls 3 and 4, bringing textile suppliers and garment manufacturers into closer proximity.
New Layout Connects Fabrics and Garments
The exhibition will feature two complementary sourcing platforms.
Texworld Paris will showcase fabrics, fibres and textile materials, while Apparel Sourcing Paris will focus on finished garments, accessories and manufacturing services.
Dedicated networking areas, trend presentations and industry conferences will support direct engagement between buyers and suppliers.
The previous edition, held in August–September 2026, attracted 1,054 exhibitors, including 146 first-time participants, reflecting increasing sourcing diversification.
India’s Trade Agreement Creates Opportunities
Organisers expect strong participation from Indian textile manufacturers following the conclusion of EU–India free trade negotiations in January 2026.
The proposed agreement would eliminate EU import duties of up to 12% on eligible Indian textiles and garments, strengthening their competitiveness once implemented.
However, the agreement remains subject to formal signature and approval procedures; preferential tariffs are not yet effective.
For manufacturers in Pakistan, Bangladesh and other competing countries, the development increases the importance of product differentiation, delivery reliability and competitive pricing.
Sustainability and Small-Batch Sourcing Gain Attention
The exhibition will feature Spring–Summer 2028 trend forums and the Texpertise Agora conference programme.
Messe Frankfurt’s Econogy initiative will highlight sustainability-focused suppliers through dedicated directories, discussions and guided exhibition tours.
A Small Quantities Itinerary will help brands identify manufacturers capable of producing smaller textile and garment orders.
The exhibition’s second 2027 edition is scheduled for September 6–8.
For textile exporters, the January event offers an opportunity to secure European buyers, demonstrate sustainable manufacturing capabilities and develop higher-value sourcing partnerships.
