Trützschler scholarships for talented youngsters with career inspirations

The winter semester 2022 at the German universities is in the starting blocks – and with it a new funding period of the “Germany Scholarship” initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Trützschler has been one of the sponsors at its headquarters in Mönchengladbach for seven years.

Trützschler has been building machines for spinning preparation since it was founded in 1888. Today, the company is recognized as a technology and market leader for openers, mixers, high production cards, draw frames and combing, and cotton or man-made fibers. Trützschler stands for innovation, quality, and economic efficiency. Besides making innovations for the textile sector, Trützschler also promotes talented youngsters. Promoting young, aspiring people has been firmly anchored in Trützschler’s philosophy as a family company for over 130 years. Trützschler looks forward to all upcoming collaborations and future success stories from the scholarship holders. Also, this year, Trützschler will support eight scholarship holders.

We are particularly pleased that, in addition to the Niederrhein Mönchengladbach University of Applied Sciences, we are now also a sponsor of the RWTH Aachen University. Three scholarships are awarded there in the fields of mechanical engineering with a focus on textile technology or in the field of electrical engineering. “I can recommend everyone to apply for the scholarship & the deep insight into the company offers a variety of interesting topics, excellent networking opportunities and great opportunities for advancement,” summarizes Jan Herzog, who is also a scholarship holder in the field of electrical engineering with a focus on automation and now holds the position of department head for electrical & electronics production.

The promotion of young, aspiring people has been firmly anchored in our philosophy as a family company for over 130 years.

The Deutschlandstipendium aims to give young talents early contacts and cooperation opportunities in well-known regional companies, ideally leading to long-term cooperation or permanent employment. At its headquarters in Odenkirchen, Trützschler has already looked after many students at the Mönchengladbach University of Applied Sciences Niederrhein in recent years, for example, as part of internships or theses in a wide variety of disciplines including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and data analytics.
