Vietnam export promotion forum to be organized in HCM City

On November 28, a forum will be organized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) in collaboration with the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) to promote Vietnam’s green exports.

The MoIT said it will gather experts and organizations in the field, and representatives from ministries, local authorities, Vietnamese firms, and their peers from 27 EU nations, among others. The Vietnamese apparel exporters would get a briefing from EU delegates about its circular textile initiative to reduce apparel carbon print.

All subjects relating to green exports will be discussed. The Vietnamese policies on sustainable growth will also be discussed. The ways for transition to a green economy, capacity enhancement for enterprises, and related recommendations for State management agencies and enterprises.

The Vietnamese government organizes this forum every year. It creates awareness among the stakeholders about green technologies. The participants include state agencies, domestic and international experts, and representatives of international trade organizations. It aims to facilitate, identify opportunities for export activities and improve export goods’ competitiveness.

The forum will be held from November 28-30. It will discuss ways to apply European green solutions to Vietnamese exports. The three days of conferences, besides exhibitions, will arrange high-level B2B and B2G dialogue sessions.
