Yarn Expo Autumn 2025, Asia’s premier yarn and fibre trade fair, is set to open from 2 to 4 September at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The event is expected to feature approximately 580 exhibitors from around the world, positioning it as a major hub for sourcing and innovation in the yarn industry.
This year’s show underscores a strong emphasis on sustainability. The expo will offer multiple initiatives that reinforce its role in eco-conscious textile sourcing. Exhibitors are encouraged to participate in the Econogy Check, an independent verification aligned with over 100 global sustainability standards. Those who meet the criteria will gain visibility through the Econogy Finder directory.
Additionally, the fair will feature dedicated areas such as the Econogy Hub, alongside Econogy Talks and Econogy Tours, all designed to connect buyers with green-certified manufacturers and highlight sustainable yarn technologies.
A wide variety of product zones are planned, including specialized sections for cotton yarn, fancy yarn, chemical fibres, linen yarn, silk yarn, wool yarn, and more. National pavilions are expected to represent India, Pakistan, Taiwan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Germany, Korea, and New Zealand, contributing to the event’s global sourcing appeal.
Moreover, Yarn Expo will run concurrently with major companion shows—namely Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, CHIC, and PH Value—creating one of the most comprehensive sourcing events in the region and offering enhanced networking and cross-sector discovery opportunities.
