Heimtextil 2024 recently witnessed participation from 918 Chinese exhibitors spread over 17,000 sq. meters of exhibition space across 14 halls.
The Chinese exhibitors showed several home textile products, including curtains, kitchen textiles, furnishings, sunshades, wallpaper, carpets, rugs, etc., and machinery and equipment.
Huang Xianyang, Chinese Consul General at Frankfurt, attended the exhibition, met several exhibitors, and learned about the various home textile products exhibited by the Chinese companies.
“Sino-German economic and trade cooperation is improving steadily, and the willingness of enterprises from both countries to strengthen exchanges is increasing,” Huang Xianyang said.
“Heimtextil can play an important platform role for Chinese home textile companies to expand into overseas markets, showcase green concepts, and enhance the brand value of Chinese products,” he added.
The Chinese official in charge of Hall No. 5.1 said that Chinese exhibitors had received an excellent response to their carpet and flooring display, which was held for the first time.
He hoped that based on the positive response, more Chinese carpet and flooring companies would exhibit at the next edition.
The export manager at Yuyue Home Textile said that Heimtextil gives them a chance to know the current trends in the industry while it is also possible to meet potential buyers from across the globe.
“Due to the pandemic, we had not met our existing customers for nearly four years, but this exhibition allowed us to interact with them,” the owner of Suzhou Taihu Snow Silk said.
