Australia exported 634,870 cotton bales in November 2023, the highest in history, of which Vietnam accounted for 44 percent, China 26 percent, Indonesia 10 percent, and the rest to India, Pakistan, etc.
Australian experts estimated that Aussie cotton exports in the 2022-23 season are expected to reach 5.5 million bales.
Since the shipment volume in December maybe 400,000-450,000 bales, the export forecast for this year has been raised to 5.5 million bales.
The experts also forecast that Australia’s opening inventory in the 2023-24 season will be 129,000 bales, while production will be 4.5 million.
According to them, the total cotton supply will be 4.629 million bales, and export volume will be 4.5 million bales in the 2023-24 season.
