In the first half of 2018, technical textile exports of Turkey increased by 20.1pc amounted to US$ 898 million.
During this period, major export product were the nonwovens. Nonwoven exports grew by 30.6pc valued at US$ 294 million. The nonwovens product category contributed to 32.7pc of total technical textile exports.
The second most exported product group includes packaging worth US$ 182 million and the total exports of technical textile account for 20.2pc. Parachute fabric recorded the biggest growth with an export growth of 135.

Exports of technical textile made to Germany were valued at US million with a growth of 23.
6pc, to Italy of worth US$ 58 million with a growth of 15.
8pc and USA of worth US$ 58.5 million with a growth of 6.5pc.
