IGATEX PAKISTAN 2025: Second day emerges as a powerful catalyst for driving industrial modernization

IGATEX PAKISTAN 2025, one of the region’s most anticipated events in the textile industry, officially kicked off today at the Karachi Expo Centre. The International Garment and Textile Machinery Exhibition, organized by Fakt Exhibitions, is set to run from April 24 to 26, 2025, bringing together over 450 companies from more than 30 countries. This year’s exhibition features leading pavilions from China, Italy, and Türkiye, making it a truly global gathering.

The event showcases cutting-edge technologies that are reshaping the future of textile manufacturing. Among the highlights are immersive composite design displays that illustrate the convergence of creativity and technological innovation in textile production. These interactive exhibits provide a unique, hands-on experience for attendees, demonstrating the transformative power of design and technology in the industry.

During the inauguration, Saeed Ghani, Minister of Sindh for Local Government & Housing Town Planning, delivered a keynote address, commending IGATEX’s role in advancing Pakistan’s textile sector. “IGATEX PAKISTAN is a testament to the innovation, progress, and untapped potential of our country,” he said. “Such events are crucial for showcasing our capabilities, attracting international investment, and forging meaningful global partnerships.”

In his remarks, Mr. Saleem Khan Tanoli, CEO of Fakt Exhibitions, expressed enthusiasm for the exhibition’s impact on Pakistan’s textile industry. “IGATEX PAKISTAN 2025 marks a pivotal moment for the country’s textile landscape,” he said. “This year’s focus on smart manufacturing, automation, and sustainability not only responds to global trends but also helps to reshape the future of our industry. The opening ceremony was attended by a distinguished group of dignitaries, including Her Excellency Marilina Armellin, Ambassador of Italy to Pakistan, and several consuls general from various countries. Their presence underscored the importance of IGATEX as a global meeting point for industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders.
