The Yarn Expo Autumn 2025, held from September 2 to 4 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, brought together nearly 580 exhibitors from 16 countries, establishing itself as a key event for the global textile industry.
The expo featured seven specialized zones, including Cotton, Chemical Fibre, Fancy Yarn, and Wool Yarn, showcasing a wide variety of yarns and fibres. Exhibitors ranged from international organizations to major industry players, reflecting the event’s global appeal.
A central theme of the exhibition was sustainability. Many participants introduced eco-friendly products such as recycled polyester, biodegradable fibres, and traceable cotton, aligning with growing demands for responsible sourcing.
The launch of the Econogy Check, an independent verification tool that supports transparency and compliance with global environmental certifications, was a significant highlight.
Alongside the main showcase, concurrent events like Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics and CHIC offered visitors a comprehensive view of current industry trends and innovations. The expo also hosted forums such as “New Fibre New World,” which provided platforms for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and networking among industry leaders and stakeholders.
Yarn Expo Autumn 2025 successfully connected Eastern and Western markets, reinforcing its role as a premier sourcing platform. The event helped foster new business partnerships and encouraged the adoption of sustainable practices, setting a positive tone for the future of the textile industry worldwide.
