Nonwoven wipes are market-dominating for years now due to various properties. Toray Industries Japan has announced to launch of its woven wipes in the market. The wipe is targeted at shops, salons and other outlets offering in-store service, as a rapid route to their disinfection and sterilization procedures.
The new woven wipe is antibacterial, washable, and could be reused without compromising performance. It is based on a unique, quick-drying weave of 4-6 micron microfibres in a structure of micro pockets to draw dirt in. It can also be used with appropriate concentrations of alcohol and sodium hypochlorite disinfectants due to its outstanding chemical resistance.
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, it has become routine at such establishments in Japan to have staff and customers disinfect their hands to prevent contact infections.
