The All Pakistan Textiles Mills Association (APTMA) has demanded real time implementation of the Prime Minister Export Enhancement Package apart from just initiating steps, such as providing uninterrupted energy supply to textile units, to ensure ease of conducting business to make Pakistan’s exports competitive in the international market.
The textile industry contributes 62% in total exports of the country and provided 15 million direct and indirect employment to 15 million, APTMA chairman Aamir Fayyaz Sheikh told a recent press conference.
