This revolutionary device made it possible to transform women’s hosiery machines into sports hosiery machines, opening up new opportunities in the knitting sector. Over time, they have continuously innovated their production processes, introducing new technologies and materials.
The BUSI® 500, one of five models in BUSI’s premium GOLD line, is specifically designed for knitting heavy socks with a diameter of 5 inches. This advanced machine boasts unique capabilities, allowing you to knit true rib and terry patterns within the same sock. Additionally, it can be outfitted with the RIMAGLIO device for seamless automatic toe closing, enhancing efficiency in your production process. With a needle range from 52 to 112, the BUSI® 500 can produce intricate patterns with up to four colors per course, in addition to the base color.
BUSI® 500 is a single-cylinder sock machine with latch needles in the dial to enable it to produce heavy gauge sports socks with true rib and terry and it is provided with full electronic control. The machine is equipped with a striping unit on both feeds (6+5 feeders) and with a terry device that allows knitting the sandwich terry. The change from plain stitch to half terry and full terry is completely automatic. The machine is available with one feed or with 2 feeds.
