CELLIANT® Viscose fibers: A unique combination of technology and nature

CELLIANT Viscose is the first in-fiber sustainable viscose infrared (IR) solution for brand partners seeking an alternative to synthetic fibers. CELLIANT is ideal for performance wear, luxury loungewear, casual wear and bedding. CELLIANT Viscose blends beautifully with cotton, micromodal, lyocell, wool varieties (including cashmere), and other fibers. Halogenix® and Kelheim Fibers partnered to create CELLIANT® viscose, a unique combination of nature and performance. The fibers provide the required warmth with the patented IR technology, comfort, and soft touch. CELLIANT viscose features natural, ethically sourced minerals embedded into plant-based fibers to create infrared products that capture and convert body heat into infrared, improving cellular oxygenation.

As the name suggests, Celliant® Viscose is a combination of two different things. For the warmth, the celliant® portion is responsible, while viscose is well known for its comfort and other characteristics. Hologenix ® is the creators of CELLIANT®, a responsive textile using infrared technology. CELLIANT® is a performance textile that converts body heat into infrared energy and is a crucial ingredient in world-class brands. Natural, thermo-reactive minerals and a blend of 88 trace elements combine to create CELLIANT. Embedded into yarn or applied as a coating to textiles, CELLIANT gives any fabric the ability to transform the body’s heat energy into full-spectrum infrared energy.

Kelheim’s flexible technology permits targeted interventions in the viscose fiber process. It delivers this unique fiber that provides full functionality without the need for any additional processing steps while impressing with a softer feel and cost and time savings compared to coated fabrics.

CELLIANT viscose is available in the following fiber types: Textile 1.7 dtex / 40 mm, Nonwovens 1.7 dtex / 40 mm, Wool 2.5 dtex / Variable Cut, Filling / Nonwovens 6.7 dtex / 60 mm.
