In the months between January and September 2023, Chinese textile and apparel exports fell 9.49 percent to US $223.14 billion as against $246.55 billion in the comparable months of 2022.
Data from China Customs revealed that textile shipments reached $101.92 billion during the review period, down 10.30 percent compared to exports in January to September 2022. Exports of garments and clothing accessories touched $121.22 billion first nine months of the current year, a drop of 8.80 percent as against $132.88 billion in the same period of previous year.
