Denim show Bluezone starts in Munich

The ongoing denim trade show Bluezone had a successful start, according to organizers, where well-known designers are showcasing their new collections.

Bluezone is a trade show that is part of the more significant denim-focused event called “Munich Fabric Start.” Munich Fabric Start is a biannual trade fair held in Munich, Germany, and it serves as a platform for the textile and fashion industry to showcase their fabrics, trims,  and accessories.

Bluezone focuses explicitly on denim and brings together a diverse range of denim manufacturers, suppliers, and professionals from the fashion industry. It provides a venue for exhibitors to present their denim collections, innovations, and technologies to a global audience. The trade show typically features a mix of established denim brands and emerging designers, offering a comprehensive overview of the current trends and advancements in the denim sector.

Exhibitors at the current fair include Soko Chimica, Prosperity x Stella Blu, Orta, Bossa, Calik Denim, Denim Authority, DNM, Evlox, Isko, MTV Belts, Naveena Denim NDL, Sashikodenim by Pey, Sharabati Denim and Tejidos Royo.

During the show, denim designer specialist Paolo Gnutti presented his Isko Luxury by PG Born To Amaze SS-2025. Four new capsules in the collection include Aurum Denim: black, indigo, and ecru mixed with a gold thread. Lightweight fabrics will also be available in this collection very soon. Charmy: inspired by the Vintage military. Sulfur cloth-dyed colors are used to recreate natural vintage shades. Blob trotters: “elite but street-wear friendly”; this fabric features gold, sparkling, and luxury. Glamour Rock: black with grey shades creates high and low effects.

Isko is also presenting a more exhaustive collection, with its complete SS25 collection made with Ctrl+Z (recycled polyester, recycled cotton, regenerated cellulose, and regenerative cotton). Beyond denim, Isko has been working on a fabric category featuring recycled polyester and FSC viscose.

An official of Munich Fabric Start said Clarity is the order of the day for the industry; there is no room for creative chaos, but only for a clear goal and strategy. And that’s exactly what organizers want here.
