Epson’s Monna Lisa series offers unprecedented quality and the highest versatility

The ML-32000 meets a variety of production needs and applications while delivering the best print quality and customer satisfaction.

The Monna Lisa is an industry-leading digital textile printer that represents the culmination of Epson’s expertise within ink and printhead development, image processing, and pre and post fabric treatment. Boasting a flexible digital textile solution with selectable channel configuration and extensive software compatibility, the ML-32000 was designed to meet the needs of an increasingly competitive and dynamic textile market.

Alongside its functional capabilities, the ML-32000 places utmost importance in reducing environmental impact and improving working environments. “With growing demands for sustainable printing solutions, Epson is keen to utilise its expertise to contribute to improved sustainability within the textile printing industry while delivering uncompromised quality and productivity,” said Tomohito Morikawa, Regional Director of Commercial and Industrial Products, Epson Singapore. “The ML-32000 is Epson’s answer to the ongoing shift in sustainable digital printing solutions”, said Tomohito Morikawa, Regional Director of Commercial and Industrial Products, Epson Singapore.

ML-32000
Equipped with 32 PrecisionCore printheads, the ML-32000 reaches a typical print speed of 423 square metres per hour (600×600 dpi – 2 pass) and offers the most flexible solution with selectable channels configured to deliver the highest versatility with the Total Textile Solution. The 8+8 colour configuration (option) allows it to be loaded with two different types of ink simultaneously (e.g., Acid + Reactive) to increase the fabric types that can be printed. The ML-32000 is available in 1.8-metre, 2.4-metre, or 3.4-metre print widths.

High print quality and productivity
Epson precision dot technologies reduce banding and graininess, while introducing new stacked printing that randomises the halftone dot pattern to reduce image degradation caused by dot misalignment. Dynamic Alignment Stabiliser (DAS) technology also ensures stable print quality by controlling waveforms on printhead chip for higher dot placement accuracy and more uniform dot density on each pass. The ML-32000 also features symmetrical colour alignment technology for consistent colour overlap order during high-speed bidirectional printing, and new Accurate Belt Position Control (ABPC) technology for precise fabric feeding. The result is optimal quality and speed, with superb reproduction of colour gradations, fi¬ne details, and complex geometric patterns.

Flexibility and reliability to meet any printing needs
Alongside the quality and productivity of print, Epson inkjet printing technology is noted for its adaptability to a wide range of media, making it ideal for direct-to-fabric printing. The ML-32000 is equipped with a dual sensor system allows active detection of folds or wrinkles that may cause the fabric to come into direct contact with the printheads. These sensors will immediately stop the carriage to avert a potential head strike.  The ML-32000 meets a variety of different production needs and applications that today’s textile printing landscape demands.

Environmentally friendly GENESTA Ink
Epson GENESTA inks are available in Acid, Reactive, Disperse, and Pigment formulations in individual degassed vacuum-packs. The vacuum-packed degassed ink comes in hot-swappable 10-litre or 3-litre high-capacity ink cartridges that allow uninterrupted production. They are also ECO PASSPORT certified by OEKO-TEX®, to meet globally recognised stringent requirements and standards for environmentally conscious textile printing. In addition, the Acid ink is bluesign® approved, and the Reactive and Pigment inks are GOTS approved by ECOCERT.

8+8 colour channel configurations
The ML-32000 offers a choice of colour channel configurations to suit different production needs. The 8+8 colour configuration can be loaded with two different types of ink simultaneously (e.g., Acid +Reactive) to increase the fabric types that can be printed, which is crucial when working with limited space or a tight budget.

Epson Edge Print Textile (RIP software)
Epson’s original RIP software, Epson Edge Print Textile, incorporates a range of convenient features including an intuitive interface, step & repeat, hot folders, and colour replacement for matching spot colours. To ensure the user is not limited to a single operating system, the ML-32000 offers flexible solutions to support the usage of other RIP software as well.
