This is a new industrial approach aimed at reducing the consumption of natural resources through their more efficient use, with the objective of preserving the natural environment and at the same time safeguarding the company’s development, and therefore employment.
Thanks to these policies, Ferraro has achieved remarkable results that can be summarised as a reduction in overall energy consumption by 47 percent, a reduction in overall steam consumption by 62 percent, and a reduction in overall air consumption by 37 percent. ‘Never before has the theme of sustainability become an integral part of our daily lives,’ explains Alex Zucchi, CEO of Ferraro Spa, ‘and it is even more of a protagonist in current and future industrial development.

In concrete terms, the company was among the first to join the recyclability project promoted by Acimit, i.e. to produce textile machinery with 100 per cent recyclable components.
