Onuoha says he conceptualized Fitletic following his 18-month battle with a near-fatal bacterial infection in 2017. “The medications doctors said I would be on for the rest of my life did nothing to improve my condition, and I was nearly suicidal,” he says, “But then I researched my symptoms and requested a test for H Pylori Bacteria, which came out positive.”
At that point, Onuoha decided to take complete control of his health, with his first move being to change his diet and incorporate exercise. He formulated a meal plan which started to lead him down his path to recovery. The foundation of his meal plan was plant-based foods.
