The delegation of ICCI (Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry) led by Mr Muhammad Naveed Malik, Senior Vice President ICCI, visited Jeddah Chamber of Commerce to meet Mr Mazen M.
Batterjee, Vice Chairman JCC to explore opportunities and potential areas of mutual cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries.
Such bilateral visits are crucial to promote bilateral trade, commerce and investment.
Saudi Arabia and Pakistan should focus on further strengthening their economic and trade relations.
Pakistan exporters have good opportunity to export to Saudia as it imports many products from other countries to meet its needs.
Mr Mazen M. Batterjee assured that Jeddah Chamber of Commerce will work with ICCI to promote business linkages between both country’s private sectors. He further added that Pakistan is already exporting to Saudia which includes food, textile, Ihrams, fashion garments, light machinery engineering goods, auto parts, sports goods and surgical instruments.
Mr Muhammad Naveed Malik urged Jeddah Chamber of Commerce to invest in CPEC and other sectors as it has created additional business and investment opportunities.
Proposals for bilateral trade and economic relations improvisation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were presented by Mr Muhammad Faheem Khan and Mr Ashfaq Chatha.
