Infor, a global enterprise software provider, has partnered with the International Apparel Federation (IAF) to support more than 100,000 manufacturers worldwide—particularly multi-tier suppliers connected to IAF’s member associations. The initiative seeks to help factories manage the growing complexity of regulatory and buyer-driven sustainability requirements across global apparel and footwear supply chains.
The partnership is centred on Infor Nexus, a multi-enterprise business network platform, and its NexTrace solution, which enables end-to-end traceability across multi-tier supply chains. By integrating real-time visibility, compliance data, and analytics, the collaboration aims to transform how manufacturers manage transparency, reporting, and performance under tightening global regulations.
IAF secretary general Matthijs Crietee said the partnership combines “IAF’s powerful global network with Infor Nexus’ platform scale and expertise,” helping to “ease the compliance burden on manufacturers and promote practical innovation.”
Infor Nexus vice president Heidi Benko added that the alliance will “turn regulatory pressure into opportunity” by providing digital-first tools that enhance traceability, efficiency, and business value.
As the apparel sector faces mounting expectations from brands, regulators, and consumers, the Infor–IAF collaboration positions digital transparency as a strategic enabler—helping manufacturers move from reactive compliance to proactive sustainability leadership.
