Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Spring Edition, held March 11–13 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, welcomed over 3,100 exhibitors from 27 countries across nearly 190,000 m² of exhibition space. The show emphasized four core industry themes: on‑trend fashion, functionality, sustainability, and digital transition.
A major highlight was the expanded Econogy Hub, returning after a successful launch in the previous Autumn edition. This dedicated zone and the accompanying Econogy Finder feature allow exhibitors who pass the independent Econogy Check to showcase verified eco‑credentials and help buyers source sustainable suppliers efficiently.
Complementing that is the debut of The CUBE within the Functional Lab, a curated showcase of functional fabrics blending sustainability and technical innovation. Key players included 3M China, presenting Thinsulate insulation with recycled content and performance features, and Vietnam‑based Henglun Textile, featuring certified eco‑knit fabrics.
In addition to fabrics, broader product and service zones highlighted biodegradable fibers, recycled materials, and bio‑based textiles—reflecting rising consumer and supply chain demand for eco-conscious sourcing. Brands like Eastman Chemical and Esquel Enterprises demonstrated progress toward net‑zero strategies and material circularity. Certifications from Ecocert, Hohenstein, and Testex AG reinforced traceability and transparency throughout the fair.
The event’s fringe program—Econogy Talks, the Innovation & Digital Solutions Zone, and trend forums—featured panels on circularity, traceability, AI in textile design, and global fashion trends for spring/summer 2026. These educational elements underscored the role of digital transformation in sustainable production.
Intertextile Shanghai Spring 2025 has further cemented its role as a global platform driving the textile industry toward sustainable, functional, and digitally empowered textile innovation.
