Kordsa has commenced its production of polypropylene monofilament fiber at Izmit plant in Turkey from June 2018. KraTos is a new type polypropylene monofilament fiber which is an innovative concrete reinforcement synthetic fiber.
Kordsa construction market macro and micro synthetic fiber products are easy to use, provides quick application, reduced labor cost, increased energy and equipment efficiency, durability, concrete toughness, and low carbon emissions for concrete reinforcement applications.
Mr Ali Çalışkan further commented, “We aim to offer this new synthetic fibre, a new version of KraTos, both in Turkey and in the European market. KraTos has revolutionised concrete construction projects with its ease-of-use in concrete reinforcement applications, quick application, high concrete toughness and low carbon emissions.
