Lok Virsa to hold national textile exhibition on 19th

National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage will hold a 3-day Domestic Exhibition of Textiles there from April 19 to April 21 at the Pakistan National Museum of Ethnology. Generally, it is known as Heritage Museum in collaboration with district culture departments and small industries firms.

The exhibition objectives at develop the traditional textiles and inspiring master artists related with them to keep on practicing the centuries’ old traditions hereditary by them from their ancestors.

It will be a unique chance for artists in the field of textile to not only demonstrate their craftsmanship for three successive days at federal capital but also sell their goods to the public and visiting foreign delegates without any misuse by the middleman.

Heritage Museum is the biggest visited museum in Pakistan with a monthly income of fifty to sixty thousand visitors containing VIP delegates, state guests, diplomats, and dignitaries.

The starting ceremony of the exhibition will feature live presentations based on “Kalam-e-Iqbal” to pay acknowledgment to the great philosopher and national poet Dr. Allama Iqbal coinciding with his forthcoming death anniversary.
