Nishat’s yet another successful deal of ‘latest development in after print washing’

let your fabric flow in continuous!
Pentek Wanny: Modular Continuous Washing Range in Rope Form

Nishat Mills Limited and the Italian company Pentek Textile Machinery have reached mutual agreement on the latest technology for washing after printed fabrics.

Pentek manufactured Wanny continuous washing range, combined with EnAirgy continuous tumbler, represents the new benchmark for achieving premium washing and drying qualities on any printed goods.

“It’s a pleasure for us to provide our latest technology to Nishat Group”, says Andrea Prologo, International Business Developer at Pentek, “and we are particularly proud of the results achieved by our system on Nishat fabrics, for both washing fastness, low consumptions and overall hand-feel improvement”.

Wanny continuous washing range features the combination of open width and rope washing units. A modular system which can be designed to satisfy a wide range of washing applications, Wanny features the “Dynamic Overflows” patented system, which guarantees the highest frequency of water and fabric exchange. Using the logic of fabric back and forth motion, it’s possible to guarantee almost 100 passages through the washing overflows, opening a totally new scenario on washing performances, while reducing consumptions and overall space requirements.

Such powerful and tensionless washing action, which keeps the fabric in constant counterflow and current flow washing, is managed by the combination of Quick, Chem and Wash modules, each of them designed for a specific washing purpose. While the Quick module removes completely the print binders and unfixed dyes, the Chem modules are responsible for the proper detergent washing, before final neutralisation and rinsing on Wash module. Each section is equipped with its own independent water level and temperature control, circulation pumps and filtration, not alone a refined products management system.

Wanny offers clear advantages in production outputs, industrial repeatability of the processes, together with consistent savings of water, chemicals and logistics. On top of that, it allows to better exploiting the existing batch dyeing setup, now purely focused on the dyeing step.

The experience of Pentek on printed fabrics finishing dates back to 2005, at the time of the introduction of EnAirgy continuous tumbler. Featuring several patented systems, from variable open width to Relax & Crush drying and tumbling control, EnAirgy has established itself as the preferred choice for added value fabric finishing, available worldwide with more than 500 installations.
