After nearly five decades of dedicated service at ZIMMER AUSTRIA, the long-standing Managing Director, carpet and military textile expert Tony Naschberger, is stepping down from his role as Senior Advisor of J. Zimmer Maschinenbau GmbH in Kufstein, effective June 30, 2025.
Going forward, Tony will focus on his position as Managing Director of Johannes Zimmer Beteiligungs- und Verwaltungs GmbH.
Since joining the company in 1975, Tony has played a pivotal role in shaping both the technological progress and the company culture at ZIMMER AUSTRIA Digital Printing Systems. Serving as Managing Director from 2010 to 2021, he led the company with foresight, a strong sense of responsibility, and profound industry knowledge.
Among his many achievements, his pioneering work in the Floor Coverings sector stands out. As product manager, he played a central role in driving numerous innovations – most notably the development of digital carpet printing, now considered a milestone in the industry.
Another major contribution was his work on digital printing for technical textiles in military applications. Thanks to his perseverance and deep technical understanding, it became possible to meet all military specifications through digital printing – a breakthrough that set new standards in precision and innovation within this highly sensitive sector.
