Machinery and software supplier SETEX is introducing its integrated turnkey solution for “the factory of the future” at ITMA 2023. The company offers a combination of smart applications and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technology designed to maximise production efficiency, resource efficiency and reduce carbon footprint.
The firm said the symbiosis of SETEX E390 controllers with the OrgaTEX X2 MES platform enables a new dimension in terms of the exchange of data and functions.
The SETEX E390 controllers have been designed to offer real-time KPIs, intuitive mobile-like swipe usability, web visualisation and IoT-functionality via OPC Unified Architecture (OPC-UA). This machine-to-machine communication protocol is used for industrial automation and developed by the industry consortium the OPC Foundation, the company said.
The OrgaTEX MES platform has been designed to provide intelligent production specifically for finishing companies, enabling agile process optimisation with web-based access for software planning, scheduling, business intelligence analytics and supply chain transparency.
SETEX added its automation solutions emphasise intuitive operation and easy integration into the customer’s production environment.
