Ternua has just presented their Trekking line for spring-summer of next year. It’s a collection with continuity where about 80% of the products are made with recycled textiles, 87% uses technology developed in-house by Ternua and 100% of the collection is Commitment* and PFC free. In addition, all the products have been designed with Bluesign certified textiles, which is the most rigorous certification in the industry for regulating toxic chemical products and spans the beginning of the supply chain to finished products. This selection of garments, that can be mixed and matched with each other, is defined by being highly technical, multi-use, sustainable and for having a unique look.
Some highlights are the comfortable, durable and PFC free ROTAR, ROTOR and VAXLAR pants and Bermudas made with recycled fishing nets from the Redcycle project. The new product in the third layer segment is the KLIGGER HARD VEST M light jacket made with recycled Stormfleece Pro. The jacket is breathable and windproof and it also protects wearers from rain. It completes the SS 23 family of rain clothing that includes jackets that have already been presented in other collections, like the VERKOM HARD LITE JKT (men) and VERKAM HARD LITE JKT (women) made with Stormfleece Pro, the KARS JKT (men) and KARSA JKT (women) or the KULNUR JKT (men) and KULNURA JKT (women), that have in-house Shelltec technology.
For the second layer, Ternua has designed the VEKS HOOD JKT (men) and VEKSA HOOD JKT (women), made with Warmshell technology, that are highly breathable, have a Polygiene anti-odor treatment whose function is to retain body heat at the same weight. Those items are complemented by the FORBET (men) and FORBETTA (women) t-shirts that are designed with a recycled textile, have a Polygiene anti-odor treatment and Dryshell in-house technology, that is good for breathability and fast drying, and they’re perfect for activities during the hot season.
Those garments are complemented by the PEMA 50 backpack that’s lightweight, has an adjustable back and air channels, shaped shoulder straps, a top closing system and an extensible top cover adjustment system. The inside can be accessed using a round zipper on the front and it has mesh side pockets with elastic band adjustment and back pockets with horizontal zippers. It has an adjustable chest strap and double elastic straps for a pole/ice pick holder. It also has front straps for carrying material, double lateral compression straps and a hydration system outlet. It’s made with 100% recycled textiles and has a PFC free water repellent treatment.
The SS 23 trekking line will be on sale at sales points in March of next year.
