Bengaluru-based leading jeans manufacturer Wonderblues Apparels Pvt Ltd is one of the few manufacturers of apparel that has continued its growth path at a time when other similar producers are fighting for survival.
According to company sources, it is aiming to enhance its capacity of producing 1.8 lakh denim pieces per month by 30 percent soon and to further increase it by 50 percent next year. The company is expected to further invest Rs25 crore in the expansion project.
The philosophy behind the expansion explained by its highest officer is that it is the norm of the market that after a downtrend, there will be an upward trend too. Moreover, he added the company’s existing clients are increasing their presence in the retail market and towards a growth trajectory. As a result, the company’s business is also growing. Additionally, the company that has been catering to the domestic need has now decided to venture into exports.
The company expects to deliver its first export shipment in the next few months to the Middle East. Moreover, it is targeting buyers across the price spectrum to cater to the denim landscape deeply.
Another official of the company revealed that in close association with denim mills, the company develops exclusive fabrics every season. This he added makes the company stand out among competitors. The company operates with state of the art technology and an in-house washing facility.
