Throughout the course, Woolmark will explore opportunities and solutions for creating textile products with a more positive legacy, how designers and businesses can support consumers to reduce their impacts, and deep dive into how wool can act as an ideal solution to support these ambitions. Woolmark works with an extensive network of relationships spanning the international textile and fashion industries to highlight Australian wool’s position as the ultimate natural fiber and premier ingredient in luxury apparel.

The Woolmark Company is the global authority on Merino wool and owns the Woolmark logo, a quality assurance symbol applied to more than 5 billion products. The iconic Woolmark logo was created in 1964, quickly making its mark in the global fashion industry. However, the story and purpose behind the mark started in the 1930s when it was decided to promote the world’s most luxurious fiber to an international audience.
