The 2023 Myanmar International Textile and Machinery Fair (MITATEX) will be held from December 8-10, 2023 at the Inya Lake Hotel in Yangon.
The exhibition is being organized by the Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA) and supported by associations of other countries like China, South Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong.
These associations will also have pavilions of their respective countries for exhibitors of their countries to participate.
“Each and every country has different tastes in terms of clothing, fashion, and design.
However, they all like good quality and innovative products,” said Daw Khine Khine New, Secretary General of MGMA.
“Since this exhibition will promote the products made in Myanmar, we will work together with international partners such as China, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, etc,” he added.
“Visitors will be able to see high quality of locally manufactured products for which we are very proud,” he noted.
ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX) and representatives from ASEAN countries will also share the future prospects of the textile and garment sectors of ASEAN countries through panel discussions.
