Carrington textiles receives JOSCAR accreditation

Carrington textiles recently announced getting the JOSCAR accreditation which works as a compliance system for suppliers to the defense, aerospace, and security industry. The ‘Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register’ (JOSCAR) is a collaborative tool used as a single source for pre-qualification and compliance information. Membership is designed to improve the efficiency of both the supplier and buyer communities by ensuring that companies only use products and solutions of the highest quality and comply with best practices.

Carrington Textiles Sales Director, Paul Farrell, says: “Holding this accreditation will make the process of trading in these sectors easier. We have been a long-serving supplier to many armed forces and believe that the JOSCAR accreditation will benefit our future trading relationships in the industry”.

Carrington Textiles is the largest producer of workwear fabrics in the UK, exporting to more than 80 countries worldwide, with over 60% of products going to new markets. The company produces over 55 million meters of fabric annually. Throughout Europe, millions of people go about their tasks in workwear made from Carrington fabrics.
