DPS World 2017 led to successful business collaboration

DPS World 2017 was the third successful event held in Expo Center Lahore from October 20-22, 2017. A large number of visitors from across the country visited the event proving the exhibition to be the most influential event in digital printing and signage industry of Pakistan.

Inaugurated by Mr Tahir Javed Malik the President of Lahore Chamber of Commerce, the event was attended by a large number of dignitaries who showed great interest in the displayed technology and machinery. The exhibition covered two halls where one was precisely projecting the textile digital printing while the other displayed a large number of digital printing and signage related machinery from the leading companies in the world.

The exhibition took the exhibitors and event attendees to the new doors of opportunities in digitalization and signage, introducing latest trends and technologies to a single yet precise platform of DPS World. The event also witnessed a large number of investment-ready buyers who made handsome business deals right on the venue. Mimaki sold the high speed direct to textile printer Tiger 1800 to the Syntech Fibers Pvt. Ltd. According to Mr Mujtaba Qurashi, the Director of Technical Syntech Fibers, the decision to purchase the machine was made because of the exceptional print quality and the excellent level of services received from the sign trade.

While on the other hand the SPG Prints also received an excellent response. SPG prints offered the Nebula Sublimation ink set that combines the bright colours with the deep black available in the market. The new sublimation inks add to the Nebula range that includes Nebula Direct Disperse inks and Nebula Reactive HD inks. According to Mr Salman Hydrie- the Managing Director of SPGPrints Pakistan Pvt. (Ltd) “The leading producers from Pakistan like Alkaram, Syntech, Sareena and Nishat are using the Nebula inks and are highly satisfied with the results.”

Leading global companies, that are dealing with the digital printing and signage were present at the event including; SPG Prints, MS Italy, Mimaki, Drust, Atexco and ESKO along with many others. According to Mr Saleem Khan Tanoli, the CEO of FAKT Exhibition, DPS World provided the digital printing industry of Pakistan with an opportunity to connect with more than 150 companies and 10,000 of delegates to share the advancements. These delegates were from different parts of the world including China, Germany, Italy, Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Netherland etc.

With the exclusive opening on the first day, the second day also brought the visitors with the opportunity to explore the end results of the offered machinery. There were live demonstrations at the event venue where the visitors were briefed about the industrial digital printing machines for a range of applications like soft signage, apparel printing, and garment decoration from the leading global brands.

A large number of international delegates who attended the show earned benefits from the specialist learning opportunities along with insights and discussions with the digital printing manufacturers from around the globe. This expert provided an invaluable knowledge and understanding across a wide portfolio of printing applications. The three-day show was highly successful in generating interest of textile related entities and also leads to a number of business deals, successfully. The next edition of the DPS World Exhibition is planned to be held in Lahore next year.
