It is interesting to note that after more than 30 years of activity, Lico Print, company from the Como textile district specialized in the printing of stretch fabrics, swimwear and sportswear, is looking for a digital solution to assure unprecedented colours. The answer to this request is Monna Lisa Evo Tre by Epson, guarantee of reliability and high-performance productivity.
Lico Print looks to digital printing for several reasons, including the need for job splitting, savings on fixed costs, speed of sampling and, above all, the development of designs suitable for swimsuits and sportswear. Nowadays, these are the unique reference product sectors for the Tavernerio (CO) printing house.
Mauro Livio, CEO Lico Print, commented, “we adopted the first Monna Lisa to extend the fleet of our machines and provide an alternative to our existing solutions.
After the successful experiment, it came naturally to keep choosing Epson-Robustelli.
Our production is equally divided between traditional and digital, but digital accounts for 60 per cent of turnover.
Out of 1.6 million metres of fabric printed annually, 800-900,000 are digitally printed. Counting on reliable and versatile solutions is essential and ensures success.
