Circularity platform Responsible acquires Haru

Fashion re-commerce logistics provider, Haru has been acquired by Circularity platform Responsible according to an announcement by Responsible.

Both Responsible and Haru provide brands with e-commerce technologies and platforms to enable brands to shift toward circularity.

They accept fashion and footwear items from their customers and then resell the items, all with a single platform.

Haru has concentrated on UK and Ireland markets since its launching in 2018.

It has supported over 550 charity shops by implementing tech-powered re-commerce solutions across the UK and Ireland.

Mark Dowds, CEO of Responsible said its acquisition of Haru is a significant milestone for responsible as the company continues to push the boundaries of circularity in the fashion industry. He said the combination of the respective technologies of Haru and Responsible will further enhance the efficiencies and margins required to move ahead in circular business by brands.



It will also bring change in consumer behavior.



The head of Haru, Jacques Hill also expressed excitement about joining Responsible which would complement their technologies. With the integration, we aim to unlock even greater value for our customers, retailers, and staff as we build a better future for fashion.
