Roland DG demonstrates the capabilities of its new Texart XT-640S-F textile printer

Roland DG, headquartered in Farum, Denmark, demonstrates the printing capabilities of the Texart XT-640S-F hybrid direct-to-textile and direct-to-garment printer by a press release printed onto a dress. The dress, designed and sewn in London and printed in Milan, highlights the white ink and bright color capabilities of the new machine, alongside text which outlines its benefits and unique qualities. The company collaborated with designer Fabia Goff, who has previously worked with top UK brands such as John Lewis and Laura Ashley, to create the pattern.

The hybrid direct-to-textile and direct-to-garment solutions have been designed to meet the growing demand for short-run printing in the apparel and textile industry. It also helps to boost company sustainability by enabling print-on-demand and reducing left-over waste garments. The XT-640S-F is aimed at apparel print houses and garment manufacturers and is ideal for fashion houses looking to build prototype versions of a clothing item or create a one-off piece for a show. The machine is available in three-bed sizes, with a vacuum table included, and offers an optional jig system enabling up to six garments printed in a single workflow. Operators can ‘load and leave’ instead of constantly supervising the print process, freeing them to focus on other activities.

The Texart XT-640S-F can print onto a broad spectrum of fabrics, including cotton, cotton-rich blends, white polyester, denim, and leather. Its CMYK plus high-density White set-up delivers vibrant printing onto white and colored garments. With excellent wash test performance and Eco Passport by Oeko-Tex certification, it provides a high-quality, eco-friendly solution for long-lasting results.
