The textile exchange is getting ready to welcome above 400 leaders from the textile and apparel industry on the annual textile sustainability conference. This conference is a global event that will take place this year in Washington, DC. The event will start from 9th and will end till13 October. The theme of the conference this year will be “United by Action: Catalyzing the Sustainable Development Goals in Textiles.”
It will be a two days conference and till have additional pre and post conference with a series of workshops that will help the audience by providing them insightful information.
The initial list of the speakers of the event is announced who will discuss and share their thoughts on sustainability issues the global market is facing now. According to the official sources, the speakers will include Ariane Grazian, Sr. Manager of General Merchandise Sustainability, Walmart; Helena Helmersson, Global Head of Production for H&M; Jeffrey Hogue, Chief Sustainability Officer, C&A; and Caroline Reid, Project Manager Sustainable Development, IKEA. Apart from these, there would be several speakers who will share their thoughts on the issue.
