SPGPrints: A wide range of sustainable digital printing solutions at IGATEX

SPGPrints is a pioneer and a key player in the market for digital printing. In 1991, they were the first in the industry to launch a digital textile printer. SPGPrints has increased its portfolio with the addition of JASMINE – Vivid colors in sustainable printing, MAGNOLIA – The next step up in digital textile printing, and ROSE – A new perspective in industrial sublimation printing.

Salman Hydrie, Managing Director. SPGPrints Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd

“Rose is a sublimation printer, Jasmine is a Kyocera head printer, and Magnolia is a printer with a 1200 dpi native resolution, and it is the only machine in the market with such capability. The speed depends on the number of heads; the machine can be customized from 6 colors to 8 colors and 8 colors into 8 heads per color, which means 64 heads machine can be made and that increases the speed of the machine. SPGPrints has developed five different ink formulations for each chemistry to ensure perfect runnability in your digital printer using specific inkjet printheads, as all common industrial inkjet printheads require specific physical parameters. We have included all our inks in N-Rich technology. The machines are named after flowers names. We named these levels after the most colorful animals in nature: butterflies. Pasha, Morpho, and Alcon ensure that every print job has the desired quality at the right costs. We are now more competitive in the market.”

JASMINE – Vivid colors in sustainable printing
With Jasmine, one can offer flexibility, stunning designs, and faster lead times to new and existing customers. On-demand production and fast delivery also help the industry to meet the increasing demand for sustainability across the supply chain for fashion and home textiles. A big challenge for most printers is the uncertainty of the volume they need to print. Therefore, Jasmine is available in a 16-print head and a 32 print head version. As robust and productive direct-to-fabric printers, they offer a wide range in yield. In case you need to replace or scale up your existing digital production, Jasmine helps you to cover new ground. With 250 m2 and 460 m2 per hour in high definition 2 pass mode, both models offer an excellent price-to-production ratio in their segment.

The right balance of technology incorporated in Jasmine internationally recognized SPGPrints inks and full customer support ensures end-to-end control for consistent, high-quality output. Whereas Jasmine is built to control high speed and high quality in two different printing widths, the Jasmine-C is a great option for entering the mid-segment in digital printing. The combination of Kyocera KJ4B print heads and SPGPrints specially formulated performance inks ensures excellent run-ability and longer print head lifetime. Most importantly, one can count on strong and vivid colors at the lowest possible ink consumption.

Continuous production of sophisticated patterns and rich colors takes the right balance of components from infeed to output. The Jasmine platform seamlessly integrates a choice of infeed options, a robust print engine, renowned SPGPrints performance inks, and a broad range of dryers. One can choose the configuration that best fits your production environment based on the design requirements. As a long-time partner in the textile printing industry, SPGPrints guides you through the process every step of the way. Expect nothing less.

MAGNOLIA – The next step up in digital textile printing
The Magnolia from SPGPrints offers unsurpassed quality and value to textile printers taking the first step into digital production. It also offers a step up to high-performance, high-quality production for printers who wish to develop their digital capabilities further. Magnolia uses several printing modes and 36 FUJIFILM Dimatix Samba print heads with a resolution of 1200 dpi. Apart from ease, accuracy, and productivity, Magnolia offers flexibility and may be used with Reactive, Acid, or Sublimation inks and different drying methods.

Digital printing makes short-run, fast-turnaround jobs affordable for customers and profitable for printers. It eliminates screen preparation time and makes more time available for printing full production runs on screen printing lines. Magnolia is a workhorse and a sprinter with an annual output of up to 2 million meters.

Open creative possibilities with Magnolia’s wide range of substrates that can be printed: sublimation papers, natural fibers, polyester, lycra, wool, silk, and even polyester. Blotches, fine lines, geometric designs, and intense colors can all be printed thanks to variable ink drop technology.

ROSE – New perspective in industrial sublimation printing
Rose offers a great new perspective on digital printers. Digital printing has been around for a while now, and more printers are stepping into the digital arena using the latest technologies. As an early adopter of new technology, one can still stay ahead. Looking at the needs of our customers in fashion and sportswear, SPGPrints designed Rose to help you achieve efficient production and a good TCO based on a robust design for maximum uptime. With 420 m2 per hour in two-pass mode, vivid colors, gradients, and fine details satisfy the need for quick turnarounds and high-quality customers.

The core benefit of digital printing is flexible on-demand production. Customers can order smaller batches and easily re-order successful collections. It reduces the waste of resources required to produce and ship stocks that will never reach consumers. Next, sublimation printing makes steaming and washing printed fabrics redundant by using transfer paper to apply the design onto the fabric, and this saves the constant use of power and water in your production. Moreover, finally, Rose displays a colorful world with high-quality inks that are ZDHC and Oeko-Tex compliant.
