A new sustainable garment line by the Italian brand: Save The Duck

Save The Duck presents its new We Love Nature sustainable garment line made using Dust fabric. The Dust fabric is Amni Soul Eco yarn involving the use of cutting-edge biodegradable 6.6 polyamides. Save The Duck is an Italian brand that deals in 100% animal-free and 100% cruelty-free outerwear.

The garments in Save The Duck’s new We Love Nature line are made of 94% biodegradable materials, with full respect for nature and biodiversity, Fulgar says. The result is also enhanced by choice of padding that is easily disposed of, like soya. Amni Soul Eco is based on the Solvay Group’s research and is distributed exclusively in Europe by Fulgar – a Made in Italy leader in the high-tech and eco-sustainable yarn sectors. It offers truly revolutionary biodegradation performance, and if correctly disposed of in a special anaerobic tip, Amni Soul Eco biodegrades in around five years, Fulgar claims.

Fulgar is the exclusive distributor in Europe and Turkey of the Lycra Fiber, Lycra T400, and Elaspan Fiber brands. In 2012 Fulgar also forged a partnership with the Solvay group, becoming a distributor and exclusive Emana fiber producer, mainly for Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.

Daniela Antunes, Marketing Manager of Fulgar, said, “We are pleased that the Save The Duck brand has chosen Amni Soul Eco for its first biodegradable clothing collection. It’s an important acknowledgment of our long-standing commitment to research and development that leads to an increasingly green portfolio and an ethical, more sustainable supply chain,”

Nicolas Bargi, founder of the Save the Duck brand, said, “We are delighted to have found in Amni Soul Eco the right yarn for making our garments even more sustainable, as it respects the environment and is also of extremely high quality. We believe that increasingly advanced research, innovation, and production processes are the future of a fashion industry that operates with full respect for nature and biodiversity.”
