The government of Pakistan has taken concrete measures to facilitate the exporters to enhance exports. Officials from the commerce ministry said to a media source that the export package of Rs.180 billion for business community to increase exports is applicable till June 30 next year.
He also said that under the package, incentives for current fiscal year would be available to those exporters who would achieve 10 percent increase in annual exports. “Rs.107.5 billion out of annual allocation have also been made for textile sector” said the official. He further added that Rs.12.5 billion have been allocated for duty drawbacks on non-textiles exports.
