Heimtextil 2023, leading international trade fair for home and contract textiles, will start the new season as the first event of the year from January 10–13, 2023 at Messe Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Germany.
This year 2200 stalls have been booked by exhibitors from 50 countries. Pakistan is among the countries that have been showcasing their home textile products for over 25 years in this exhibition. Pakistani exhibitors fetch most of their home textiles orders from this event. Over 110 Pakistani companies will showcase their products from their stalls. In addition, the TDAP also books a large area in the exhibition for small firms from Pakistan that also number over two dozen.
Among the participants are some prominent names from around the world including Pakistan, India, and Sri Lanka. A.S.(TR), Trendart (CH), Trevira GmbH (D), Trident Limited (IND), Velamen S.A. (E), or Zorel Tekstil (TR).
The exhibitors are gathering in Frankfurt at a time when the textile industry is facing numerous challenges. The exhibition is spread over a very large area and to ensure that the buyers visit the specific area of their interest designated areas are earmarked for each type of product. These include the bed wear portion, towel producers’ area, a portion reserved for fancy textiles, and another for textile designers. With the new trend, sustainability is the main theme.
